Adsum is the Middle East’s first homegrown Art Consulting firm and is the brainchild of founder Saida El Harakany. Adsum combines years of her business and strategy consulting experience with a passion for the arts. At Adsum we use structured consulting frameworks and research to organise and make sense of the often passionate purchases of art.
Adsum: Latin for present in the here and now, is focused on the contemporary art market in the Middle East. Our mission is to bridge the gap between the often-elusive art market and those wishing to appreciate, understand, and acquire art. We do that through our services of consulting, educating, and supporting the art market.

At Adusm we believe in the power of Education and the need for that to be at the core of one’s relationship with art. Art buyers in the region have great influence on the market and its direction and hence have a responsibility to be as informed as possible. We offer various workshops, curator guided tours, and artist talks. The workshops are focused on three key areas:

At the end of the workshops clients leave with a better sense of their collector’s identity..
At Adsum we leverage our extensive business consulting background to support the arts by providing business-consulting services to art establishments in the region. We support galleries and not-for-profit organizations alike.
Additionally, we believe in the importance of giving back and supporting the art scene at large. To achieve that we are working with several partners on creating a society of patrons of the arts that will support various art related initiatives from art prizes to residencies and more.
